Tracking Your Progress with Alivra
Fill in your check-in questionnaires, read your education content and connect a fitness watch to keep up with your program, knowing your clinician (not the app) makes decisions about your care. Turn on notifications to get exercise reminders, and remember step data and education content are for your own information only.
1. Filling in your check-in questionnaires
From time to time, Alivra will ask you to fill in a short questionnaire about how you're going. It may ask about pain, what you can do day to day, and how you feel about your care.
How to fill one in:
- When you get a prompt, open Alivra.
- Answer each question honestly. There are no right or wrong answers.
- Tap Submit when you're done.
Who sees your answers?
- You can look back at your answers in the app.
- Your clinician can see them too, so they can talk them through with you.
- The app doesn't use your answers to make decisions about your care. Your clinician does that.
If your answers show you're getting worse, don't wait for your clinician to notice. Contact them.
2. Reading your education content
Alivra has reading and videos about your condition and staying well.
- Open Alivra.
- Go to the Education section.
- Choose a topic to read or watch.
The education content is general information. It isn't personal medical advice. If you have questions about your own situation, ask your clinician.
3. Connect your fitness watch or tracker
You can link a compatible fitness watch or tracker to see your step count and activity in Alivra.
- Open Alivra and go to your profile or settings.
- Choose the option to connect a device.
- Follow the steps on the screen to pair your watch or tracker.
- Allow Alivra to read your step and activity data when asked.
Good to know:
- Your step and activity data is just for you to see how active you've been.
- It isn't used to check your health or monitor your condition.
- New data can take up to 24 hours to show up.
4. Reminders and notifications
Alivra can send you reminders to help you keep up with your exercise program.
Turn notifications on:
- Apple: Go to Settings, then Notifications, then Alivra, and turn on Allow Notifications.
- Android: Go to Settings, then Apps, then Alivra, then Notifications, and turn them on.
If you turn notifications off, you won't get exercise reminders. Your program will still be in the app.
