Is Alivra right for me?

Alivra is for adults aged 18 and over who have a muscle, bone or joint condition and who have been given an exercise program by their clinician.

To use Alivra you'll need to:

  • Use a phone or tablet on your own, or with help from a carer
  • Follow instructions on the screen
  • Have a steady internet connection

Talk to your clinician before using Alivra if you:

  • Have fallen recently, or fall easily
  • Have heart problems or blood pressure that isn't well controlled
  • Have an infection in a joint
  • Have a condition that affects your nerves or brain, such as Parkinson's disease, a recent stroke or epilepsy
  • Have trouble with memory or understanding instructions
  • Need someone to help you move or get up
  • Have new pain, swelling or weakness that hasn't been checked
  • Have very weak bones (osteoporosis) with a high risk of breaking
  • Have very loose or unstable joints
  • Have hearing or eyesight problems that aren't corrected
  • Have had problems after surgery and haven't been cleared for rehab
  • Have severe pain that hasn't been checked by a health professional

Alivra isn't for urgent or emergency care. Your clinician will decide if Alivra is right for you.
