Meet JointFit:  What It Is and Why We Built It

JointFit is the app your patients use to complete their MSK care program between appointments: motion-tracked exercises, education modules, and check-ins with a physiotherapist, all reporting back to your clinic in real time. It's built to close a specific gap: the weeks between visits, where patients lose momentum, forget their exercises, and arrive at their next appointment no better than when they left.

What JointFit does for your practice

  • Personalised programs — motion-tracked exercises prescribed by a physiotherapist, completed by patients from home with real-time form guidance. No wearables required.
  • Clinician-led support — every patient has a qualified, AHPRA-registered physiotherapist supporting their program, whether that's your own team (Platform Partner) or ours (Referral Partner).
  • Real-time reporting — progress, adherence, and any flagged risks are visible to your clinic as they happen, not just at the next appointment.

Pre-op and post-op, covered

Pre-operative: from the moment a patient is booked for surgery, they receive a personalised preparation program — motion-tracked exercises, education modules to reduce anxiety and set expectations, and a dedicated physiotherapist checking in via video call.

Post-operative: after discharge, structured rehab exercises progress as the patient heals. Your surgeon receives automated milestone reports without the patient needing an extra appointment — so if something's not right, you know before it becomes a readmission.

Two ways to work with us

  • Platform Partner — you deliver telehealth consultations yourself, using JointFit to prescribe exercises and monitor progress between appointments. Best if you want to keep the clinical relationship in-house and use us as the technology layer.
  • Referral Partner — you refer patients to us with a simple form, and our AHPRA-registered physiotherapists deliver the program. Best if you want to offer MSK support without adding headcount.

The results so far:

Project Mobilise, a pilot conducted with Bond University and Southern Gold Coast Orthopaedics, tracked real patients over six weeks in a guided JointFit program with telehealth physiotherapist support:

  • 70% improvement in knee function
  • 60% improvement in pain
  • 87.7% opted in from screening to program
  • 9.1/10 average Net Promoter Score

"The program fills a glaring gap in service offerings for patients who are not yet appropriate for joint replacement. It's a great benefit knowing that a qualified team of healthcare professionals supports and enhances their overall health, complementing my practice nicely when surgery becomes necessary."
— Dr Jason Tsung, Southern Gold Coast Orthopaedics
