What brings you here?
Living with joint pain
You've got joint or muscle pain that's affecting your daily life. You're not sure what to do about it, or you've been told to "just exercise more" but want proper guidance.
Booked for surgery
You're having a hip or knee replacement and want to be as prepared as possible. Or you've just had surgery and want to recover well.
JOINT HEALTH PROFILE
Know your joint health in 2 minutes.
The Joint Health Profile is a free, clinically validated screening tool that gives you a clear snapshot of your joint health. No medical jargon, no blood tests, no appointments. Just simple questions about your daily activities, movement, and comfort.
When you're done, you'll see where you stand on a scale from Stable and Strong to High Alert. If your results suggest you'd benefit from support, we'll show you the programs available to you and help you check your eligibility.

PATIENT STORIES
Real people. Real results.
Sue | Live Well
Before the program I could barely walk 100 metres without pain. After doing my exercises on the app daily, I went to Japan where we walked through theme parks and all sorts of places with no problems. One day we walked almost 8 kilometres.
Carol | Surgical
My husband and I both commented when I walked well in my first days after surgery that those exercises must have made a big difference. In rehab, I could see how hard other patients found the exercises I was so used to doing.
Dianne | Live Well
The biggest thing has been the confidence. I couldn't walk up five stairs and couldn't imagine ever being able to again. I'm very pleasantly surprised that this has worked for me. I haven't got as much pain, and I'm not taking anti-inflammatories regularly anymore.
Kerrie | Live Well
The program has helped me with my body, my confidence, and knowing how to move properly. I've felt much stronger in my everyday activity. Being able to contact my physio whenever I needed to with questions has been really beneficial.
Stanley | Live Well
Thanks to JointFit, I'm back to riding my bike and playing golf. The daily exercises gave me back the things I love doing. I thoroughly recommend it to anyone with joint problems.
Mark | Surgical
The support and interaction with my health coach has meant my program is tailored to my situation. I like being able to follow a structured program but still review with a physio to monitor and assess my progress.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
-
What is JointFit?
JointFit is a personalised care program for people with hip or knee joint pain. It combines guided exercises, education, and support from a qualified physiotherapist, all delivered through an app on your smartphone.
We offer two programs: JointFit Live Well for people managing joint pain without surgery, and JointFit Surgical for people preparing for or recovering from joint replacement.
-
How much does it cost?
If you have private health insurance, your JointFit program may be fully covered depending on your policy.
We'll help you check your eligibility.
If you don't have cover, self-pay options are available. Your GP or specialist can also refer you directly.
-
What phone or device do I need?
JointFit works on most smartphones, tablets, and computers from the last four to five years.
For iPhones, you'll need an iPhone 12 or newer.
For Android, you'll need a phone with at least 8 GB of RAM (like a Samsung Galaxy S20 or Google Pixel 6 or newer).
For full details, see our technical requirements page.
-
Do I need a fast internet connection?
No. JointFit's exercise tracking runs on your device, not over the internet, so you don't need fast or constant connectivity.
You'll need a standard broadband connection (5 Mbps or above) or stable 4G signal to load each session, which takes a few seconds. Once loaded, the session runs with almost no bandwidth.
If you're in a regional or rural area with patchy coverage, just make sure you have signal when you start. Your results will sync when your connection returns.
-
Does the app record or store video of me?
No. The exercise tracking uses your device's camera to watch your movements in real time, but no video is ever recorded, streamed, or sent to our servers.
The only data transmitted is session information like exercise scores, rep counts, and movement measurements.
Your camera feed stays on your device. For full details, see our privacy policy.
-
Do I need any special equipment?
No. All you need is your smartphone with the JointFit app installed. Our exercises use your phone's camera to track your movement.
No wearables, no sensors, no special equipment.
-
Who are the physiotherapists?
All JointFit physiotherapists are qualified, AHPRA-registered professionals with experience in musculoskeletal care.
You'll be matched with the same physio throughout your program so they get to know your situation.
-
Can I cancel?
Yes. Programs are designed to run for 12 weeks, but you can stop at any time.
